Learning Welsh Dysgu Cymraeg

Croeso,

Learning Welsh is an important part of children’s education. We teach Welsh to all our learners, and make effective use of incidental Welsh throughout the school day. We encourage all our pupils to use incidental Welsh whenever they can and our Criw Cymraeg has been very helpful in promoting this.

We are currently working towards  the Bronze Award within the Siarter Iaith Gymraeg – Welsh Language Charter. It is the aim of the charter to recognise and promote the Welsh Language and culture.

Like all the skills we teach in school it is always helpful if parents can use them at home with their children. So if you are a new or existing parent, or grandparent, interested in how you could help your child please follow the links below.  Diolch yn fawr iawn!
